ELARGO s.a.

Elargo S.A. is a company based in Nafplio, Greece, dealing with the production of crude pomace oil from olive kernel. The founder of the company entered the pomace oil business back in 1957, when he acquired his first pomace oil factory, located in South Crete.

In 1968 he transferred the business to Nafplio, where a new factory was constructed, having an annual pomace oil production capacity of more than 2.500 tons. The vast majority of the produced oil (80-90%) is exported to Spain and Italy, while the remaining is directed to the domestic market.

The quality of the produced oil is exclusive, as it is characterized from outstanding clarity, low levels of acidity and moisture content, as well as low levels of foreign matter. Hence, the produced oil is well known among the refineries in Italy and Spain.
